I love owls. I have a strong affection and connection to owls that started when I moved to California in 1976. There were a pair of barn owls that roosted in the eaves of one of the buildings where I took classes at Sonoma State University. I still have a pair of their feathers. I love the Hawaiian native pueo, (Asio flammeus sandwichensis) which is a subspecies of Short–eared owl that is endemic to Hawaii. The way that one owl is getting petted reminds me of what Gabriella, my Amazon parrot and I share every night at bedtime. Hope you enjoy the music and the owls in this video.
